City Hall warns: Important changes affect fees, validity of documents and wedding ceremonies

The City is informing citizens of some of the changes that have been put in place due to the state of emergency. The data is provided for each department of the City Hall that is responsible for the matter.

DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION

  • Driving licences that have expired during the state of emergency remain valid until the state of emergency is over.

  • Driving licences previously applied for by citizens are issued only in justified cases on the basis of a prior telephone or e-mail order.

  • Vehicle inspections for vehicles that expired during the state of emergency will be accepted.

GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT:

  • Parents of children born in Luhačovice are advised that the deadline for payment of financial gifts to children born in Luhačovice who were resident in Luhačovice at the time of birth has been extended. Thus, we want to protect especially the smallest citizens of Luhačovice and their parents and minimize the risk of infection by this measure.

  • Please note that citizens may present ID cards or travel documents that have expired.

  • Currently, there is no obligation to apply for an ID card due to a change of permanent residence, marital status, loss, theft, first ID card at the age of 15 or due to the approaching expiration date. Documents previously applied for by citizens are issued only in justified cases.

  • According to the communication of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is not an urgent official matter to conclude a marriage. Wedding ceremonies will not be held during the ban.The engaged couple will be contacted by the registrar to arrange a new date after the ban is lifted.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT

  • The due date for the dog fee has been moved to the end of May.

  • Due to the current situation, wire transfer payments are preferred, or use of a contactless credit card when paying at the Township Treasurer's Office.
