In connection with preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus, the Regional Hygiene Station of the Zlín Region is gradually publishing further important information. The latest news is available at http://www.khszlin.cz/. The latest documents, including a decree of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, which imposes a mandatory quarantine for citizens arriving from Italy from 7 March, are listed below.

"As of 8 March 2020, the Regional Hygienic Station of the Zlín Region based in Zlín has ordered a total of
73 samplings in indicated cases, i.e. in persons with clinical symptoms of the disease and positive
travel history. In the last few days, these were mainly persons who had returned from
a stay in Italy. To date, PCR testing has excluded the disease in 54 persons sampled. We are waiting for more
results," Sedláčková said.
The Zlín Regional Hygiene Station, based in Zlín, has set up a telephone line for its citizens at 724 221 953 and 577 006 759, which are availableevery day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and in case of questions by e-mail:covid19@khszlin.cz"Recommendations remain in place for travellers who have stayed in areas of
COVID-19 to limit contact with the public as much as possible, monitor their health for
14 days after returning from areas at risk.
In the event of a sudden onset of at least one of the following symptoms: cough, temperature, shortness of breath,
stay at home and contact your doctor by phone, who will organize further provision of
health care in cooperation with the regional hygiene station in Zlín," the head of the regional hygienists warned.
