Data from hygienists are favourable for Luhačovicko

In the entire district of Zlín, which includes Luhačovicko, there was only 1 infected person from Saturday evening to Wednesday morning, according to health officials.

This is according to data officially published on the website of the Zlín Regional Hygiene Station. The information is updated twice a day for the whole region. While on Wednesday, 1 April 2020, as of 9:00, the number of infected people in the Zlín district was 29, which is the first increase compared to the figure reported on Saturday, 28 March at 18:00, when it was 28. 2020 9:00, the numbers of infected in each district were as follows:

- Kroměříž district 16 cases,

- Uherské Hradiště district 92 infected

- Vsetín district 11 people positive for COVID-19

- Zlín district 29 cases.

The total number of registered cases is 148. It should be added that the total population of the region is about 580 thousand, so the confirmed incidence of coronavirus is far from one percent. The infection rate is even far less than 1 infected per 1000 inhabitants. Thus, thanks to precautions and conscientious wearing of masks, the epidemic has so far been successfully kept under control.
