As in previous years, the popular cultural event will be under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in the Czech Republic Rastislav Káčer as well as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in the Slovak Republic Tomáš Tuhý.

The Slovak Culture Days will open on Wednesday, September 1 with a screening of the film comedy The Man with the Rabbit Ears directed by Martin Šulík and starring Miroslav Krobot. The film tells the story of a writer who one day acquires an unexpected ability - extraordinary hearing in the form of rabbit ears. This enables him to hear not only other people's voices, but also their thoughts.

On Thursday afternoon, the festival programme will continue with a concert by the Slovak band Huncúti, who will perform on Lázeňské náměstí with folk and modern compositions in their own unique performance. The organisers of the event have also thought of theatre enthusiasts, for whom they have prepared a performance of Podfuk for Thursday evening. The musical comedy about a seemingly insignificant lie of a bored landlady is enhanced by great acting performances of the main representatives, beautiful theatre music and the creators' guaranteed recipe for what is actually important in life.

Architecture lovers will be in for a treat on Friday afternoon, when the programme includes a guided tour in the footsteps of Slovak architect Dušan Jurkovič, who gave Luhačovice its unmistakable look. Friday evening will be dedicated to Mark Gond, who will give you a glimpse into the secrets of making fujaras, shepherd's pipes and other unusual musical instruments.

On Saturday, the Days of Slovak Culture will be closed by the popular Slovak vocal group Fragile, which performs well-known rock/pop/jazz hits by world artists without the use of musical instruments. Their creativity and playfulness gives a completely new face to well-known songs. The performance is always full of excellent music and great humour, which will make you experience an unforgettable evening full of unique entertainment.

Presale of tickets to the Spa Theatre takes place at the Information Centre at the Colonnade daily from 9 am to 8 pm. Tickets for the Elektra Municipal House of Culture can be purchased at the Luhainfo Municipal Information Centre from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.
