Diabetology Days to be held in October

In response to government measures against the spread of coronavirus, the organizers from the Czech Diabetes Society decided to move the event from the traditional date in early April to autumn.

By decision of the Committee of the ČDS ČLS JEP, z.s., the 56th edition of the Diabetology Days will be held in Luhačovice on the alternative date of 21 - 24 October 2020.

The centre of the Diabetology Days will remain the Elektra Municipal House of Culture. Every year, hundreds of doctors specializing in diabetes treatment, as well as nurses and other specialists and representatives of pharmaceutical companies meet at this congress with a rich tradition in Luhačovice. A number of symposiums, panel discussions and the like are held during the meeting, and foreign experts also attend the event.

In total, twenty congresses and similar meetings are usually held in Luhačovice during the year, and thousands of experts attend them together. Most of the congresses and conferences are medical meetings. However, there are also events focused on trends in landscape architecture or waste management.
