"It starts at 9 a.m., we have the weather under control and we wish everyone the best of luck with their sport. We will present the history of the past eight editions to the participants and the spa guests present in a very clear way right next to the courts," notes tournament director Dalibor Chrastina.
A number of friends, business partners and familiar faces will take part, who always feel at home here.
Runs, smashes, and maybe even cramps await traditional tournament participant Robert Heche to make it rhyme nicely.
"I tuned my form on holiday with my family, I'll give it my all," says the eternal youngster, a reporter for TV Prima, who has repeatedly run half marathons in preparation.
"I tune in a little differently. My husband and I always take our bikes to Moravia. This year, we also drove through and after the tournament we will drive through a piece of your beautiful region," says host Marie Retkova, who is known for having a better forehand than backhand, but also a better backhand than forehand."It depends on how my Petr coaches me," smiles the likeable lady.
Big things can be expected from the TV managerial couple Jan Dudek, Eva Stejskalova. "In our case, it will definitely have a charge, I know that," says TVS head Jan Dudek.
As always, Martin Berdych, father of our long-time successful tennis player Tomas, accepted the organizers' invitation.
"The flow of time is really fast, it's been ten years since my son brought me the Davis Cup to show me, here I won the Luhačovice one a couple of times, so we'll see," he reflects before the event, where as often in the past he will be accompanied by an experienced doctor and tennis friend Martin Liberda.
The football coaching "Siamese twins" Bohumil Páník and Jan Somberg are looking forward to Luhačovice.
"I'm taking black shorts and a black shirt, we'll be the black horse of the tournament," laughed Páník in preparation for the games of the year.
The general director of the organizing organization, Jiri Dědek, or the Czech Republic's ambassador to Slovakia, Tomas Tuhý, both of whom already have extensive tennis experience, are expected to be on the courts.
"We very much appreciate the participation of Mr. Ambassador, we are looking forward to meeting him on clay and on Saturday evening also in the Spa Theatre at the closing ceremony of the Days of Slovak Culture, an event that is wonderfully intertwined with our tournament," adds the General Director of Lázně Luhačovice a.s. Jiří Dědek.
Last year, the cup and great prizes were enjoyed by the duo Křenek, Sládek. Who will win among the 16 pairs this year will be known around 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre
The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
