Four Thursdays in August will belong to the summer cinema

We start on August 6 with the Czech comedy Through the Fingers from the beach volleyball scene. The main roles will be played by Petra Hřebíčková, Jiří Langmajer and Denisa Nesvačilová, Vojta Dyk or David Prachař. The second film to be screened on 13 August is the popular film 3Bobule. A week later, on 20 August, the summer cinema will offer the well-known comedy The Last Aristocrat and on 27 August the screening on the terrace of the swimming pool will conclude with the Norwegian fantasy Journey to the Living Water," said Hana Slováková, the director of the Elektra City Cultural Centre, on behalf of the organisers.

In a recent poll, Luhačov residents showed an extraordinary interest in the summer cinema. The location on the terrace of the swimming pool seemed to be the most feasible solution, as it is an easily accessible place that provides the necessary technical and social facilities. Moreover, it is not a problem to park easily at the swimming pool.

Those who would like to go to the cinema and watch classic performances directly in the Elektra cinema hall of the Municipal House of Culture can, of course, have this option available to them during the summer. The range of film screenings is very wide.

Outside of the summer cinema, we screen every day except Mondays in the Elektra cinema. Audiences can look forward to the new premieres of Czech comedies Happiness is a Beautiful Thing and Casting for Love and the postponed premiere of the Ivan Trojan film Scarlet and other films. Every Sunday at 16.00 we screen for children. There are new releases Scoob!, Sonic the Hedgehog, Trolls, but also the popular among children Tlapková patrola," concluded Slováková.
