Spa life is not quieting down even today. Even after the government's tightening measures, it is possible to provide adults and children with spa treatments that are fully or partially covered by health insurance companies.

After renovations completed in the fall of 2019, the Vítkov Children's Hospital has more space for meals, a more spacious lobby, an expanded medical section and increased bed capacity.

There will therefore be more than a hundred children and their attendants in both main buildings of the children's hospital at the beginning of March.

The youngest patients have been coming to Luhačovice since a year and a half, mainly for respiratory treatment, but also for skin, digestive and obesity diseases. The health insurance company fully covers accommodation, meals and treatment not only for the child but also for the accompanying person. The duration of the stay is 28 days.

Hygiene measures, which were already set last spring, remain at the highest possible level. To increase safety, only patients and their companions with a valid negative antigen or PCR test for coronavirus are admitted for stays. Patients will be mandatorily tested weekly during their stay. Testing is performed using a gentle method by swabbing the nose and, in children, the oral cavity.
