Jaromír Hanzlík in Luhačovice: Vincentka helped me many times

Jaromír Hanzlík and the Chairman of the Board of Vincentka a.s. Jan Šumšal were on top of their game, and then after the autograph session there was time for a few questions among friends.

What is your relationship with Vincentka? In acting and presenting circles, it tends to be positive...

I like Vincentka very much. It really belongs to the acting profession. We actors sometimes "hap" with our vocal cords. Well, as we know, this healing water is the best thing ever to fix it.

So, have you tried it on your own skin, or vocal cords?

Well, gee, it has helped me many times. Inhale, gargle, it is very important, the effect comes soon and guaranteed.

Why do you like Luhačovice as such?

For many reasons. Beautiful spa, the whole town has its own atmosphere, that specific spirit, which may be harder to express, but all the better to experience. There's great air, beautiful women on the colonnade, well, you name it, why wouldn't you want to come back here.

How often do you actually get a chance to come here?

I'm not going to be completely accurate, but within a year, it flies by, maybe two, I'm here for I think the fourth time.

Near here is Zlín, what does this friendly city mean to you?

Well, a lot too, I got the Golden Slipper from the children's festival, I'm very happy about that. Zlín is also Bata for me and then also one wonderful thing and that is the unique collection of vintage cars of the Samohýl family, so I looked at that with real interest, a wonderful thing.

You were in front of the camera as a boy of ten, then thirteen and then from early youth practically all the time. Are you taking a break now?

Now I wake up in the morning and retire. And when I wake up the next day, I retire. But it's hard work, you wouldn't believe it.

Oh, you're considered a man of action even in your 70s, are you filming anything?

Not now, but something is always in the works. When we are in the Czech-Slovak Luhačovice. Something is being said, but I can't really say anything specific.

You found your friends, the Šumsal family, here long before the christening of the new Vincentka, right?

Of course they are, they are admirable, they - father Láďa and son Honza - have actually brought the local Vincentka from a very bad state, almost clinical death, up a lot in a quarter of a century. I'm very pleased and glad we met.
