Kindergarten to open in limited mode at the end of May

The City Council decided on the system of the kindergarten's further operation at its meeting on 20 April. The specific form, such as the division of children into groups and the introduction of other measures during school hours, will be announced as soon as possible. "We are still waiting for the Ministry of Health and the Regional Sanitary Station to clarify the rules for the kindergarten's functioning," the mayor added. The town wants to make it easier for parents to take care of their small children even in the summer period, when the kindergarten is usually closed. "Gradually, various measures are to be relaxed and the city and the economy will be directed towards a normal regime. That is why we have decided to keep the kindergarten open throughout the summer holidays this year and make it easier for families to return to normalcy," the mayor outlined.

The Luhačovice kindergarten was partially available even after the state of emergency was introduced, but only for children of parents employed in the Integrated Rescue System or in the food industry. However, this option was not used by parents at all.
