A new species of tree called "Charity Blush" is being planted on the territory of the Archdiocesan Charity Olomouc. "Charities in the Archdiocese of Olomouc have been inspired by modern trends and in many places the planting of the "carob tree" is taking place on a large scale, and of course Charity Luhačovice has also joined this activity."

This is a modern trend, as is the case with Charity Šternberk, which has planted as many as seven of them in the area. Our tree at Charity Luhačovice also produced several dozen cloth drapes, which people can pluck for FREE.
The director of the Archdiocesan Charity Olomouc, Václav Keprt, is close to botany, and so he explains the current trend professionally as follows. It thrives well in all types of soil, and benefits greatly from a climate of goodwill. It is capable of flowering even during frosts if there is enough warm interpersonal contact in its surroundings. In this case, frost will not damage the flowers. The Latin name is Velamea beneficius caritatis - Veil of Charity (it can also be parochialis ((parish)) or vulgaris ((general)). I am pleased to see that it is thriving on charity land and blooming beautifully in many places."
Our Veil of Charity also has a transparent pocket on its trunk from which you can take the veil or donate it there for someone. It is necessary to follow the instructions before using the drape, which are surely generally known to everyone - it is best to boil, iron and wear it until it gets wet.
And since our organization operates in the territory of Luhačovské Zálesie and on the border of Wallachia, then let our drape be a charity after our "Růškovník".
Thank you to all the volunteers and our workers who sew the drapes and bring them to us regularly. In these challenging times, this help is all the more valuable.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre
The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
