"We are holding on and for that Luhačovice thanks all the medical staff, volunteers and others who are helping. That is why we have placed a billboard on Masarykova Street thanking them for their help," said Mayor Marian Ležák on behalf of the town. This message is in a really exposed place, as the street is the main artery of the city. "Many citizens will see it here and that's good, because the thanks go to them as well. We are pleased that there are no more infected people in Luhačovice, also thanks to how disciplined the residents are in wearing masks and observing other measures. This is also a great help. We also greatly appreciate the cohesion between people and understanding," said Mayor Marian Ležák. The fact that everyone in Luhačovice really wears a veil is demonstrated by an unusual picture. "Even the founder of the first local spa company, MUDr. František Veselý, sets an example. I believe that he would also be very happy with the attitude of the people," smiled the mayor, pointing to a photo of a veiled statue standing by the Luhačovice colonnade. The mutual help and cohesion of the people in Luhačovice is also evidenced by the way the aforementioned thank-you billboard was created. "The graphic design and the possibility of using the advertising space for this message were provided free of charge, for which I am also very grateful," concluded Mayor Ležák.
