The Luhačovice Architecture Week will offer guided tours of Luhačovice and its corners. Local and spa guests will be able to learn interesting facts about the White Quarter, the Prague Quarter and the history of the villas in the town and the spa.
On Tuesday, October 3, the program includes the White Quarter, where, in addition to Dušan Jurkovič, Bohuslav Fuchs also left his indelible mark. "We will talk not only about the Radun Hotel, Villa Viola, Eva, but also about Villa Vlasta," said Luhačovice spokeswoman Hana Srncová.
On Thursday, October 5, it will be the turn of the Prague Quarter, which boasts a unique concentration of architectural gems. And why the name Pražská? Because the names of the villas carry a name associated with our capital city.
The last tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 7. It will focus on the villas in the city and the spa. Not only Alexandria, but also Villa Ludmila or Radhošt', Světlana and Haná are the dominant features of the town centre.
The town of Luhačovice organizes regular guided tours during the year, each of the tours has its own theme. "Here springs Luhačovice, Here springs the architecture, interesting are also Evening tours with wine tasting or Luhačovice town of tastes and smells," Srncová added.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre
The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
