"Traditionally, they meet in the center of our spa, their working symposium is now in its ninth year, and the results of five days of artistic work will be on display at an opening near the colonnade with a rich accompanying program on Saturday afternoon," Dalibor Chrastina from the management of the spa organization invites you to see the works of the skilled hands of six leading carvers, adding that it is possible to catch the masters of the field directly at work with wood until then.

The symposium is one of the many events that add color to the spa this year, in addition to the usual musical performances. Soon, among other things, the local festival for lovers of Leoš Janáček's works will be launched, aptly named Janáček and Luhačovice, with musicians from home and abroad.

"Of course, there will also be a number of other events, in the near future there will be swing music, music of many genres, popular dance evenings and much more, there is something for everyone, we are also planning, as always in the second part of the summer, the Days of Slovak Culture, but the list would be really long, culture in the spa simply belongs, belongs and certainly will belong," the experienced manager shares in advance.

Visitors really like their Luhačovice and this also applies to other events organized by the town or other organizations. For example, it is pleasant to meet people in Pepík Náhlovský's bar and café in the spa hotel Miramare, where one likes to remember the man who has been giving joy in the actor's heaven for some time now, but whose spirit remains in Luhačovice.

It is no wonder then that people simply fell in love with the colonnade and everything that belongs to it. It is practically full in the Vincentka hall.

"We are from Ostrava, Luhačovice is our clear heartland. We are just getting our health from the most famous spring here, but I tell you honestly, it is so wonderful here that we would come here even if there were no mineral waters," laughs Mrs. Jarmila. "There's nowhere to go, the prices in the shops seem normal, it's nice," she adds.

Bianka Koubská came to Luhačovice for a week from Kyjov.

"Every year I come here for a week, it's wonderful here in Slovácko, it's perfect here. I don't want to compare, but this symbiosis of peace, health treatments, but also rich cultural activities and very nice nature, it's just a refreshment of body and spirit, I'm definitely not the first time here, far from it, and I believe it will certainly not be the last," he says with enthusiasm.
