Luhačovice begins to communicate with the public via a new website

"In connection with the recent introduction of a new visual identity, we have of course also counted on the transformation of the website, which we want to be modern and adapted to this style and overall concept. However, as the town of Luhačovice has never been the owner of the luhacovice.cz domain and we have major changes in the pipeline, we have decided to create a new platform on the "eu" domain. We will continue to improve and adapt it to the visitors of the website," explained Mayor Marian Ležák.

people can now find the information of the municipal authority that they have been used to so far. In a few weeks, the town will then introduce a complete website for tourists and other visitors on the related domain luhacovice.eu. The town will thus no longer be involved in the www.luhacovice.cz project, in which it has long participated with the company AVONET, s.r.o., which is based in Luhačovice. The cooperation on the current website is still ongoing and the "eu" and "cz" pages are currently interlinked. Although the town is starting to go its own way, the mayor sees the cooperation so far as mutually beneficial. "I'm glad that we parted ways in a friendly way that does not preclude further cooperation in the future," the mayor added.

The founder of the company, Tomáš Máčalík, also evaluates the past years of cooperation positively. We understand the town's ambition to have its own website and we part ways in a civilised manner."

In the future, residents and visitors to the town will be able to use both the existing tourist website www.luhacovice.cz, which is being upgraded, and the new town portal www.luhacovice.eu.
