As the Luhačovice bowlers informed on their website, they can look forward to an improved bowling alley for the new season's matches, as it has been undergoing renovations since the week of 17 August. After many years, the old damaged crosses under the bowling pins were replaced with new Pauly WM 12mm crosses. The replacement was carried out by ZAKO Slovakia s. r. o., a company that has taken care of the overall service of the tracks at several World Championships. The replacement of the crosses was followed by the replacement of the old pins and a general cleaning of the entire area of the lanes and other areas of the bowling alley, which was taken care of by a collective of bowlers from Luhačovice. So let's hope that the diligence in taking care of the bowling alley will be appreciated by a favourable result of the first interleague match and that the fans of Luhačovice bowlers will come to support the team with a good spectator backdrop. Surely everyone is looking forward to the match, because last year's interleague was prematurely terminated in the spring due to the coronavirus crisis and since then there has been no interleague bowling match to be seen. A week later in the spa town, bowling fans will not have this opportunity, because Luhačovice will have an outdoor match against a rival from Slovakia, on 12 September they will go to the KK Tatran Sučany bowling alley. The third Saturday in September will bring again a home match, again against a Slovak opponent, when on 19 September Luhačovice Falcons will face TJ Slavoj Veľký Šariš at home.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre
The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
