Luhačovice footballers won the Spa Cup for the fourth time in a row

This year's 43rd edition was held in Velichovky Spa on 18-19 July. In the group Luhačovice faced first the home team, whom they defeated 1:0. In the second match Luhačovice won against Mšené Lázně 3:1. In the last match of the group, Luhačovice drew with Klimkovice 0:0 in normal time and won 3:1 on penalty kicks. Thanks to this, Luhačovice qualified for Sunday's final. They defeated Lázně Bělohrad 3:0. The great performance was certainly supported by the fact that the team also showed off great t-shirts in an attractive new city design.

We participate in the tournament every year and I rate it as one of the best events of the season. It's a great team bonding event. The guys really pulled off the tournament and I think we deserved the win," Cervenka noted.

People can soon look forward to the performance of FK Luhačovice footballers in the next edition of football competitions. "Our championship matches will start in mid-August after a six-month forced break. We will start playing the regional championship with an outdoor match in Nedašovo Lhota on Sunday 16th August at 5 pm. The first home match of the KP will take place on Saturday 22 August at 10:15 and our opponent will be the team of Štítná nad Vláří," Červenka added.
