An interesting program awaits those interested on Saturday from 2 pm, when guides will set off from the Sokol Hall to the castle. "This commemorative event will be full of photographs and stories about life, history and especially about the inhabitants of the houses and villas in this part of the town," said Terezie Bartoníčková from MTIC.

On Sunday, there will be guided tours that will reveal interesting facts about the architecture and history of Luhačovice in the White Quarter. "You can also visit the interior of the Alexandria Hotel and the Radun Hotel. It is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm at the post office," Bartoníčková continued.

The tours will last an hour and a half and are free. In addition, holders of the citizen's "Here Come the Benefits" card will receive a souvenir. "Capacity is limited, so reserve your spot in advance. Registration is possible by e-mail: info@luhacovice.eu or by calling 577 133 980," Bartoníčková added in conclusion.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
