What better way to celebrate International Guides Day than with a guided tour of the city? The staff of the Luhačovice Tourist and Information Centre thought similarly and prepared thematic guided tours for the residents and visitors of the spa town. They will be held every day from Sunday, February 20, to Friday, February 25.
All the planned tours promise an interesting and varied program that will appeal especially to admirers of the unmistakable and distinctive architecture of Luhačovice.
"All lovers of architecture, history and famous personalities will find something to enjoy. Pwe will present you the Sound Map of Luhačovice, the owners of the Radun Hotel will personally guide you through this functionalist gem, pa tour under the name Tady pramení Luhačovice will introduce our town not only as a spa, but as a modern place to live and a tourist destination suitable for all ages and interest categories," said Jarmila Ďurďová, the project manager of tourism.
The tours are organized by the Municipal Tourist and Information Centre in cooperation with CA Luhanka, the Luhovaný Vincent association and the Museum of Luhačovice Zálesí. Representatives of each organization will be the ones to realize the individual guided tours. The last tour on Friday will be led by Laďka Horňáková, an experienced curator of the architecture collection of the Regional Gallery in Zlín and a native of Luhačovice.
