In all communities, drapes are being sewn and people are supporting each other across the region. Solidarity and a responsible approach to the decrees promulgated can be seen. In order to keep our area further free of disease, protective equipment is being distributed to the necessary places. "Over the weekend, the distribution of 590 respirators to doctors who practice within the Luhačovice Regional District began." added the mayor.
The production and distribution of drapes sewn by volunteers in Luhačovice is also continuing. "To date, we have given out 1546 drapes, plus another 250 or so distributed by the town administration through the town hall. The distribution is also handled by the postwomen and the municipal police. Part of the total number has been given to rescue workers and pharmacies." Now, the masks are also available to the public on a continuous basis in front of the information centre. "We offer them according to the number of new ones produced. We put them in a box located under the canopy at the entrance to the info centre. But we only offer them in multiples. We ask that people take them from here only in the necessary number if they really miss the drapes," Slováková pointed out. Those who do not have a veil can also call the information centre and ask for one to be delivered. The information center can be contacted
