Luhačovice orienteers invite to another year of LCE triathlon

Come try it yourself! Come and tackle the pitfalls of our beautiful triathlon. You can join the winners or just successful participants, just like Petr Vabroušek, professional firefighters, countless representatives of orienteering or just lovers of active movement," invites Vít Kunčar on behalf of the organizers on the club's website.

The race will take place on the usual route with the start of the swimming part at 16:00 on the Křešov pond between Loučka and Slopný, from where the participants will then set off in the cycling part via Loučka and Petrůvka to the ridge above Luhačovice. Participants of the shorter version of the race, intended mainly for the women's category, will switch from cycling to running at Ovčírna. The men cycle down to SC Radostova and then run back up the hill. The running route leads from the ridge further towards Újezdec, where as usual the finish is near the U Luxů hut. In total, the shorter route includes 380 m of swimming, 20 km of cycling and 8.5 km of running, while the longer route includes a 560 m swimming section, 22 km of cycling and 10 km of running.

The 10th edition of the race was won by Tomáš Kolárik from SKOB Zlín in the men's category, while Petra Macková was the best among the women. More information about the race can be found at:
