A month ago, a text appeared in the media space containing a statement by the chairman of the Association of Spa Places of the Czech Republic, Jan Kuchar, in which he said that many spa facilities are considering to stop accepting patients from health insurance companies for treatment from January 2023.

"The Association of Spa Places of the Czech Republic, of which our company Lázně Luhačovice, a.s. is a member, is distancing itself from this statement," Lázně Luhačovice said on its website.

The Association of Health Spas of the Czech Republic has previously announced that due to high energy prices, there may be temporary closures of selected facilities during the winter months, but this does not mean that the spa will refuse to treat a select group of patients, in this case clients of health insurance companies.

"We would like to assure all our patients that Lázně Luhačovice, a.s. will accept patients of health insurance companies for treatment without restrictions this year and from January 2023. January 2023," said Jiří Dědek, general director of Lázně Luhačovice.

Other hotels and guesthouses operated by Lázně Luhačovice will gradually open according to the current situation. "We expect to open the children's hospitals from 8 February 2023," Jiří Dědek added.
