"After a short break at the turn of the year, life is beginning to return to our hotels and spas. On Sunday, January 10, the Palace Hotel will open for business and on Wednesday, January 13, the Miramonti Children's Hospital will also welcome pediatric patients. These days, patients of health insurance companies are the most frequent, but self-payers will not be missing either. Approximately one-fifth of our capacity will be in operation," says Eduard Bláha, General Director of Lázně Luhačovice, a. s.
Hygiene measures, which have been set since last spring, remain at the highest possible level. "We take the temperature of all patients and staff every day. Only those who are also staying together sit together at the table in the restaurant and that is never more than two people. To ensure spacing, the number of exercisers in the pool and gyms has also been reduced. There are no joint inhalations, this procedure is only conducted individually. Our aim is to make all guests feel safe here," adds Eduard Bláha.
Although the colonnade, the spa square and the streets are still half empty, visitors can drink directly from the spring of Luhačovice Vincentka in the hall of the same name every day.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre
The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
