Luhačovicko is still without a case of the disease, respirators are distributed to doctors

Luhačovice received the first shipment of respirators for doctors, which went from the state for further distribution to the regions. "The Zlín Region received the respirators at night, and handed over the necessary part to us for further distribution to doctors in the whole territory falling under Luhačovice, as a municipality with extended competence (for example, also for Slavičín). It is a total of 590 respirators, which can be picked up from tomorrow by doctors at our town hall," the mayor said.

Milan Levkov, crisis management officer at the Luhačovice town hall, added more details.

"Along with the respirators, we received a specific list of doctors and the number of respirators allocated to them from the Zlín Region. The distribution of respirators will begin on Sunday and will continue on the following days, always from 9 am to 2 pm," Levkov outlined. He also noted that according to the rules set by the region, no one outside the list will be issued imported protective equipment. "It is necessary for doctors to come in person, it is not possible to issue respirators to people with power of attorney or credentials. When doctors arrive for respirators, they are to ring the bell of the secretariat at the side entrance or call the phone number already mentioned. Packets have already been prepared for individual doctors with the appropriate number of protective equipment to be issued.
