Management of the Home for the Elderly calls for respecting the closure of the entire DS premises to the public

We ask the public not to enter behind the tapes, into the grounds and to respect the complete ban on visitors. We want to protect our clients, but we also want to give them the fresh air that is so important to them.

The plan of activities, exercises, activations is still valid. None of the clients is locked in a room, we spend our free time together under security measures, for example, showing films, doing crosswords, puzzles, rehabilitation exercises, etc. We have also introduced yoga classes using Skype transmission.

We also ask the families and loved ones of our clients not to try to meet, and also to consider whether it is absolutely necessary to bring anything to them. We provide clients with everything they need, whether it is disposables or food and other items as part of their regular shopping. The staff strictly adhere to all hygiene measures to minimise the risk of transmitting coronavirus to clients - the most at risk group.

Please advise anything you wish to bring into the Home by telephone first. We are happy to answer any questions you may have or arrange telephone contact with your loved ones.

Thank you for helping us manage this difficult situation for everyone and not risk putting us or yourself at risk of infection.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
