"City Ball is one of the most important and significant events of the year for me. We always make sure that the program is attractive and the ball is in the spirit of a spectacular show and an unforgettable party. I believe that everyone enjoyed the evening this year too, especially thanks to our partners, without whose support it would not have been possible to organize the ball," said Mayor Marian Ležák.
"A total of 602 spectators attended the Ball, with 110 performers. The many weeks of preparation are really worth it when you see so many people having a good time and making it a great party again. The budget is already heavily approaching one million crowns and if it wasn't for our partners, it would not have been possible to do this event on such a scale," added KKC Elektra director Jan Zavřel.
One of the highlights of the evening was breaking last year's record for the amount raised for the raffle. This year, the audience contributed an amazing 171 thousand crowns to the raffle, which will go to the transparent account of the Korunka Pomáhá organization and will be used for charitable purposes.
The program of the ball was carefully prepared to satisfy the tastes of even the most demanding guests. The evening opened with a violinist Veronika, a drumming show by Ritmo Factory and a dance performance by Dance Studio Starlight. In the main hall, the band Timber Music played, while in other rooms the dulcimer music Malé Zálesí provided musical accompaniment. The folklore ensemble Jakub, the band CCA Gang, a bartending show and performances by the emcees Hanky Srncova and Marek Vasut added charm and dynamism to the event.

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force.
