New government measures continue, the situation in Luhačovice is calm

"I am glad that the citizens and visitors understand the emergency situation and are complying with the measures and I would like to appreciate their responsible approach and maintaining the peace," said Mayor Marian Ležák.
Based on a new government decree, Luhačovice must close its information centres to the public from 14 March. "Even though we did not want to close the information centre, we have to do so in view of the new government measures. I would like to commend the work of the girls so far, who have made the situation easier for visitors by providing them with factual and helpful information. Even after the closure of the information center, the information center clerks will continue to answer questions by phone and e-mail," the mayor noted.
As part of a responsible approach to the situation, the mayor convened a crisis staff of the entire ORP to discuss the procedure for declaring a state of emergency. "We are in close contact with the crisis staff of the Zlín Region and I can assure the citizens that so far there is no infected not only in Luhačovice but also in the surrounding municipalities," the mayor pointed out.
He therefore urged everyone to keep calm. An important piece of information from the government on 13 March is the strong assurance that the food supply will definitely be maintained and people do not have to worry about shortages in the shops.
In order to protect the health of citizens and to prevent the spread of the epidemic, the government has also introduced the following additional measures:
- allowing trucks to run on Sundays is intended to prevent any potential supply problems
