I am glad that not only in our spa town, but also in all other municipalities that fall under the Luhačovice Regional District Council in terms of public administration, people observe the established regulations and wear veils. Thanks to the good leadership of the municipalities, we have all managed to manage the emergency situation together and prevent the spread of the epidemic," said the mayor of Luhačovice, Marian Ležák, on Friday 3 April at noon. He highly appreciates the involvement of citizens in all places in the territory of the ORP in volunteering to sew drapes, help the elderly and help each other. "I must also highlight the work of the mayors and other employees of the individual municipalities who are very active in solving current problems. We are in regular contact with the municipalities and everything is working really well," Ležák noted.

If one does not work in the state administration or in a related field, one may not immediately realize which municipalities (towns) actually fall under the Luhačovice ORP. In addition to Luhačovice (including local parts), the territory of the ORP, or municipality with extended competence, also includes the municipalities of Biskupice, Bohuslavice nad Vláří, Dolní Lhota, Horní Lhota, Lipová, Ludkovice, Petrůvka, Podhradí, Pozlovice, Rudimov, Sehradice, Slavičín (this town is a municipality within the public administration called II. Slopné, Šanov.

We add individual pictures of villages without description as a little quiz for the weekend. Can you guess which of the 15 municipalities (or towns) they are?

If you are not sure, check this article again after the weekend.

UPDATED: During Monday we added the solution. Hover over an individual photo to see which municipality (city) the image is from. When you click on a photo, there is also a caption directly below the image.

More information about contacts for municipalities and their websites can be found here .

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core.
