People can only go out for work, shopping, doctor's appointments.

Effective March 16, 2020 at 12:00 a.m. until March 24, 2020 at 6:00 a.m. The Government of the Czech Republic has restricted the free movement of all persons throughout the country, with exceptions.

People can continue to go out of their homes only in specified cases. They are allowed, among other things:

- to go to and from work

- to go or do essential shopping

- to visit offices, post offices or doctors when necessary

- to do necessary things to take care of children, loved ones or animals

- walks in the park or countryside are also allowed, but only individually or with loved ones living in the same household.

As in the neighbouring ORP Uherský Brod and ORP Valašské Klobouky," Mayor Marian Ležák informed about the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on 16 March.He urges citizens to respect the regulations and remain calm. "In particular, I ask everyone to keep their distance from others, to pay attention to increased hygiene and, if they have masks available, not to be shy to use them. We are currently trying to provide protective gear for the most exposed workers and are also organizing the production of the drapes by workers of our city organizations and volunteers. - limited operation

- only children whose parents work in the IRS, health care, food sales and for cases of special consideration decided by the director of the maternity school are allowed to attend.

- children will be in groups of up to 15

Other important information:

- regular hotels cannot provide accommodation services

- spa treatment facilities are not yet closed in cases of reimbursement by health insurance

- indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including playgrounds, are closed.

- food deliveries and sales "through the window"

- taxi service limited - only licensed taxis are allowed, no ridesharing and carpooling.

- from Monday 16 March the counter of the Financial Office in Luhačovice is closed until 23 March, the Financial Office in Zlín is open Monday and Wednesday 8:00 -11:00. For more information
