Folklorists walked from the post office to the Villa Najada, to the interest of residents and spa guests. From the bridge at Ottovka they symbolically threw a lit figure of Morena representing winter into the river flowing through Luhačovice. Songs sung about how no one was sorry to say goodbye to winter - that is, to Morena - could be replaced by songs about the green tree, which replaced the figure of Morena at the head of the procession as a symbol of the beginning of spring.
