Customers are increasingly interested in souvenirs and regional products in a unified visual style of the city, so the city has decided to expand its permanent offer. For example, cheese biscuits from a regional producer have been newly dressed in packaging with fresh, colourful illustrations and imaginative slogans.

The new visual has been used by the city since December 2019 and has been very positively evaluated by both the public and experts in the field from the very beginning. What they appreciate most about it is its simplicity, imaginative and timelessness. It has gradually spread to all areas of the cultural, social and sporting life of the spa town. Buildings, flags, posters and the Luhačovice Newspaper, which is published regularly every month, are marked in a unified style.
"I am pleased with how the unified identity has connected us across the town. This is true among businesses as well as local associations in sports, culture and other activities. At the same time, it is gratifying that our form of identity development is also a model for some other towns," notes the mayor of Luhačovice, Marian Ležák.
In the town's Tourist and Information Centre, those interested can buy T-shirts, socks, bags, key chains, labels and also cycle jerseys in the colours of Luhačovice. The successful visual style, which is also easy to apply and lively, has also appealed to local manufacturers, who have expanded their offer with products in the new city identity.
As a souvenir or as a gift for your loved ones or business partners, you can also find Vincentka, Lázeňské oplatky, Luhačovická herbná, beer, Ovocňák and now cheese biscuits in the colours of Luhačovice in the information centre. According to Lucie Šústková from the information centre, the products are really in demand.
"We often encounter the fact that customers want, for example, Vincentka only in a bottle with the identity of the town on it. Other souvenirs, such as T-shirts and Spa wafers, also sell well. There is already interest in a new product - cheese biscuits," says Lucie Šústková, adding that the city has also set up an e-shop to meet the high demand for these products.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre
The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
