"Buses are now stopping at alternative stops located behind the ČD building. This week, the networks will be laid out at the bus station. The actual construction work with the closure of the passage through the station will begin on Monday 11 May," said Deputy Mayor Jiří Šůstek, who is responsible for the city's investments.

The contractor is COLAS CZ, a.s., and the work on the terminal should be completed by the end of September. The construction will be accompanied by traffic closures in the area. The new terminal will increase safety for passengers, bring more comfortable options for transfers between different modes of transport and ecologically processed stops, the roof of which will be covered with greenery. The existing bus turntable adjacent to the station will be converted into a roundabout. The roundabout resembled a roundabout, so some drivers were unsure of the right of way despite the traffic signs. When the station is converted into a modern terminal, the road surfaces and paving of the pavements and platforms will be replaced. The city's biggest investment this year will cost about CZK 18 million, part of which will be covered by a subsidy from the Integrated Regional Operational Programme of up to CZK 7 million.
