Further significant measures against the spread of the coronavirus have been introduced by the Government from 6:00am on Saturday 14 March.

The following restrictions will be in effect for a period of ten days:
Retail sales and service sales in establishments, except convenience stores, will be closed to the public:- food,
- computer and telecommunications equipment, audio and video receivers, consumer electronics, appliances and other household products,
- fuel,
- fuel,
- hygiene products, cosmetics and other drug products,
- pharmacy and dispensary of medical devices,
- small domestic animals,
- pet food and other animal supplies,
- eyeglasses, contact lenses and related merchandise,
- newspapers and magazines,
- tobacco products,
- laundry and dry cleaning services,
- Internet sales and other remote means,
with said goods and services being predominantly sold or offered at the establishment,
The public is prohibited from being present in food service establishments, except for establishments that do not serve the public.Exceptions include, for example, employee catering, catering by health and social service providers, and religious
facilities); this prohibition does not apply to sales outside a food service establishment (e.g.
The operation of food service establishments located within shopping centres with a sales area exceeding 5 000 m2is also prohibited.
