Although it will only be two years since the area around the Luhačovice dam has grown to include this coffee-scented place, it is already safe to say that the Jamai Cafe is one of the most popular resting places for passers-by. The terrace has a beautiful view of the entire dam and the coffee served here is always high quality and fresh. Jamai Cafe is not only a chain of cafes, but also a roastery that roasts its coffee in nearby Uherský Brod. In the café, therefore, different exotic coffees from different parts of the world are rotated on the grinder every week and the skilled baristas will draw a teddy bear, a heart or even a tulip into your coffee. But it doesn't stop at coffee in this café.
The coffee is complemented by delicious desserts from Veronika Ovesná from Valašské Klobouky or several types of ice cream from Peter's ice cream from Luhačov. To cool you down, the girls will pour you (among others) Vincent from Pivovar Luhačovice, but you will also be refreshed by lemonade made from fresh syrups or cocktails like Aperol Spritz or Mojito. If you are more of a wine drinker, you can enjoy delicious wines from Bzenec's Kněží hora Winery.
The café is open every day of the week and is located on the Pozlovice bank of the dam, right under Penzion U Přehrady, which is part of the same complex as the café.

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force.
