Mrs Romana from Příbramsko sees it exactly the same way. "This is the most beautiful place in our country, we have a world away, but we have not missed spring Luhačovice for decades. You just get younger here, it's the best treatment. With the addition of the spa, I don't miss anything anymore."
Well, as it happens, so far in the long winter we have missed the flowers, which give the magical place an even prettier face.
Dalibor Chrastina from the management of the Luhačovice Spa recalls that a few years ago, specifically in the 2013-2014 season, the surrounding area underwent extensive revitalization, which brought additional new views of the spa area.
"It was a quite exceptional intervention. Over 280 trees and over 2,300 square metres of shrubs were cut down. Then nearly 500 new trees and more than 15,000 shrubs, thousands of perennials and other woody plants were added to the spa grounds."
Well, now they'll be "reaping the fruits."
Luhačovice will blossom into colorful and fragrant beauty every day.
"My wife and I always head here in April, when spring is in full swing, we can't wait to see the beauty of the flowers," says Petr Skalička from Ostrava, adding that this year, as newly retired seniors, they will not miss their stay.
"We are looking forward to experiencing an economic "boom" after two years marked by covid, it is already clear that people are not forgetting us and we will of course not only offer them our own beautiful nature, but traditionally also the best possible services. That trust simply has to be renewed, and we are ready for that, and we believe that everyone will indeed find peace, health and relaxation. The aforementioned flowers on the trees and bushes are our great helpers," looks forward to the days and months ahead.
