Swimming at the dam? The water is cleaner at the campsite, further away from the dam

The last sampling for analyses was carried out by the KHS on 27 July and the results were published on 30 July.According to the health inspectors, the water at the campsite is still suitable for bathing with only slightly deteriorated characteristics. However, the deteriorated water quality was measured at the dam for the first time this year. In this case, it is recommended to take a shower after swimming, especially for individuals more sensitive to water quality. However, the measurements still do not indicate that the water is unsuitable for bathing.

In recent years, people have been using the Luhačovice dam not so much for bathing, but mainly for various rides on pedal boats, boats and paddle boards, which can be rented here. The Duha swimming pool directly above the dam and the Municipal swimming pool with an indoor pool in the very centre of Luhačovice are much more used for swimming.
