The kindergarten Luhačovice will continue to be led by Bc. Jana Malaníková

Malaníková has been the head of the Luhačovice kindergarten since 2010 and her vision for the future direction of the kindergarten has once again appealed to the town's leadership. "In my conception I am based on my experience as a director and I want to lead the kindergarten in such a way that the children will be happy here. The aim of the school's educational programme is still to educate children to health and a healthy way of life, the goals are based on the environment of the kindergarten's location in the spa town," Malaníková noted. The most pressing tasks are, of course, to get the facility back on track after the coronavirus crisis. "There are now four classes in operation and about 55% of the 138 children are registered for attendance. We will hope that the situation will soon calm down and by September the kindergarten will be operating as normal. We are all very much looking forward to it," commented the headmistress. In order to make the summer period easier for working parents after a difficult time, the kindergarten will this time operate over the holidays without the usual break when it is usually closed.

The fact that Malaníková is a really experienced director is also evidenced by the fact that under her leadership the city has made many investments in the kindergarten. In 2013, she revitalized all the buildings of the kindergarten, and a year later she renovated the terrace of the economic pavilion. In 2016, the school kitchen was completely modernized, the next year the hot and cold water pipes in the basement of the kindergarten were replaced and in 2018 a new classroom for 2-3 year olds was built in Hall C. Last year, the renovation of Pavilion B and the boiler room was carried out. If the financial possibilities of the town allow, the director would like to continue with further improvements. "We would like to do, for example, a complete reconstruction of pavilion A and modernize the school garden," the director outlined.
