The number of infected people in Luhačovice is minimal, the mayor appreciates people's attitude

"Luhačovice is still one of the areas least affected by the epidemic. I would like to thank all citizens for their attitude to the current situation, for keeping calm and wearing masks. I am happy to see how responsible everyone is and how they are complying with the prescribed regulations," said the mayor of Luhačovice, Marian Ležák.

According to the information from the Regional Hygiene Station, there were 99 people infected with COVID-19 in the entire

Zlín Region

as of 9 a.m. on Friday, March 27. According to the Czech Statistical Office, the total population of the region is 582,555 (source:

www.czso.cz/csu/xz

). Thus, for a population of almost 600,000, there are less than a hundred infected. It can be seen, then, that the epidemic is fortunately under control for the time being, and this is certainly thanks to a number of measures and their strict observance.
