The main events of the festival will undoubtedly be the Sunday celebration of the blessing of the springs. But visitors can also look forward to a fair, a vintage car show, concerts, theatrical performances, a historical carousel and many other events.

"We have once again conceived this year's opening of the springs in a spectacular way, and every year we try to enrich the program with something. I am already looking forward to Aneta Langer's concert, which will open the three-day festival, and to Saturday, which will be in the atmosphere of the First Republic," said the mayor of Luhačovice, Marian Ležák.

During the festival, visitors will be able to meet shoemaker Tomas Bata, who regularly visited the spa town, or the first Czechoslovak president T. G. Masaryk. "These gentlemen will be walking around our town and will certainly be happy to converse with any of the visitors," Ležák continues with exaggeration.

On Sunday, the traditional highlight of the program will be the blessing of the springs accompanied by folklore groups. T thus we call for the rich springs to be rich again and for Luhačovice to be what it is. Full of well-being and spa," added the Luhačovice mayor.

The festival itself will open on Friday with a concert by Aneta Langerová, who celebrates 20 years on the music scene this year. Saturday will be marked by a historical atmosphere, when visitors will have the opportunity to see a ride on historic bicycles, a parade in historical costumes or a parade of veterans on Lázeňské náměstí. At the end of the festival, visitors will be able to listen to Miroslav Zbirka's hits performed by the musical group Meki Tribut.

All information about the festival, including the full program and parking options, can be found on the new www.oteviranipramenu.cz website.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core.
