The weekend was a success for the footballers, both the A and B team succeeded

In Saturday's duel with Slavkov pod Hostýnem, Lukáš Ďurďa performed excellently and secured all of Luhačovice's goals in the opponent's sanctuary. Thanks to his hat-trick, Slavkov fell to Luhačovice B team 2:3 and the B-team of the spa town recorded their first win of the season. Ďurďa scored in the 7th minute to put Luhačovice into the lead, but Slavkov quickly equalised with Mrázek two minutes later. In the first half, Ďurďa scored again in the 27th minute and our team took the lead again. In the second half, Sadil equalized in the 77th minute. Ďurďa secured the victory for Luhačovice and his hat-trick in the 84th minute by converting a penalty kick.

The team had a tougher start to the match in their next away game against Kvasice on Sunday. In the 33rd minute, after a penalty was awarded, Zapletal of Kvasice broke the net for the first time. Luhačovice also had the opportunity to play a penalty in the 48th minute, but Polách did not convert it. The author of the first goal, Kvasic, then added another goal in the second half in the 75th minute and things looked very bad for Luhačovice. Luhačovice team managed to turn the game around. First, Štěpán Červenka scored in the 80th minute. In the 90th minute Antonín Popelka equalised and added the winning goal in injury time.

The coach of Luhačovice Jan Jelinek was of course very happy about the result.
"The opponent wanted to defend the result and it became successful for him. Kvasice looked uncompromising from the beginning and in my opinion it made the difference. In the end they seemed to be running out of strength. After the penalty was missed, luck smiled on us again in the end. I must praise the boys for the work they did. We have a lot of absentees and in such a case the team has to come together and that's what happened today. Wednesday's lackluster performance is forgotten," commented the coach on the club's Facebook page.

In the regional championship, after three rounds played, Luhačovice's A team holds third position with 7 points in the table thanks to a great turnaround in Kvasice. The same number of points are also second Slušovice. Štítná nad Vláří is leading with 8 points.
