The www.luhacovice.cz website in its new form

The www.luhacovice.cz server has been operating for over 16 years as a joint project of the City of Luhačovice and the company AVONET based in Luhačovice. The town hall had its own autonomous website mesto.luhacovice.cz, and through joint efforts both local entities promoted the spa to the general tourist public from all over the Czech Republic. The town decided to withdraw from the cooperation and start operating a website with its own domain. The recently launched new website of the municipal authority can be found at mesto.luhacovice.eu. Therefore, the long-planned changes on both sides are now being completed.

"The www.luhacovice.cz website will continue, due to its established address and contractual obligations, as the clean destination website of the entire tourist site Luhačovice - Pozlovice. We would like to thank the town of Luhačovice for their long-term cooperation," says Tomáš Máčalík. "At the turn of September and October, we will present a modernized website that will take into account current trends and the requirements of visitors and partners in order to maintain our leading position in terms of visitor traffic. The interest in Luhačovice was huge in the summer. This was reflected both in the number of tourists who came and in the traffic to the site. July was a record-breaking month with over 200 thousand page views," added the founder of the server.

The new server will be operated by the company ZLIN.CZ s.r.o., which operates the server of the same name www.zlin.cz and which has its own journalistic and media team. The technical facilities, including the connection, will continue to be provided by AVONET.

"We will rely more on synergy with the whole region and the connection of both servers," says Martina Hofrová, head of the Zlin.cz server. "It's definitely worth visiting Luhačovice for a few days, even if you live in a relatively nearby area, which is where our regional server Zlin.cz is headed. The two websites also have many content intersections, because Luhačovice is the pearl of the Zlín Region," Martina Hofrová said.
