You can now pay for theatre, cinema and concert tickets online or by card in Luhačovice

In the Infocentre in Luhačovice, card payment has been possible for quite a long time and more and more visitors are using this option. Therefore, they decided to introduce the card payment also in the cinema, where the employees have encountered this request from the public more and more often.

"Ticket sales are faster and more comfortable for many visitors. Cash payment will of course still be possible. We have decided to purchase mobile terminals connected via GSM network, which brings the possibility to pay by card, for example, at our stand at fairs or at the temporary box office of the summer cinema," said Jan Zavřel, director of the Elektra City House of Culture.

And that's not all. These days we are also launching an online ticket reservation system for cultural events organized by the Elektra Municipal House of Culture.

"So visitors will be able to book a ticket on our web portal and pay for it directly by card. They can then print out the ticket or keep it electronically on their phone and just present the QR code generated on the ticket to the attendant upon entry," continued Zavřel.

The link to reserve and purchase tickets will also be placed directly on the posters in the form of a QR code, so visitors will only need to scan the code, select their seats and pay from the comfort of their own home.

"We hope to increase the attendance of cultural events by introducing this system, because we simply eliminate the basic problem of having to go somewhere to get tickets," concluded the director of the cultural centre.

For about three months, the information centre has also been running an e-shop www.suvenyry-luhacovice.cz, where it is possible to buy local products, souvenirs with the identity of the city or books. Customers can also pay for their orders online with a credit card.
