Children are interested in the camps, they will go with DDM and Scouts

A total of 8 camps for different age groups from pre-school children to the 2nd grade of primary school were prepared by the House of Children and Youth Luhačovice. "The interest is high, there are only a few places left, and the programmes of all events are being prepared," said Eva Tomalová, director of the Luhačovice Children's and Youth Centre. The biggest of the events with the DDM is the residential camp. "It takes place at the popular Revice in Vizovice and the theme of the camp is Harry Potter stories. However, this camp with about fifty participants is already fully booked," added Tomalová. Some vacancies remain only at the suburban camps, which, like the residential event, are organised by the DDM during July. There are still a few places left among the suburban camps, but for example the events focused on floorball and inline skating are also already full. As the director added, all events are similar in that they are mainly focused on being outdoors with various activities in nature.

The Luhačovice Scouts from the Osamělý Hawk centre are also going to the countryside for a joint stay in July.

"This time, however, there is no classic tent camp, we are going to a cottage in Lužná. There will be 25 participants including the leaders," said Petr Mituník, the head of the centre. The camp is a joint camp for boys and girls and there will be the traditional full-camp game. "This time it's with a knight theme," Mituník revealed.

All the children and the organisers can only be wished to enjoy their summer at their favourite camps. Perhaps they will be even more excited about these events, as many people have dropped their plans for a foreign holiday this year due to the situation.
