The tertiary care service provides its services to existing users without restrictions. We have suspended the performance of home social investigations, and contracting of users in the home. If necessary, please contact us primarily by telephone or electronically if possible, we try to minimize personal contact.

According to the regulation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, new contracts can only be concluded verbally for necessary cases. The delivery of lunches to existing users is carried out under stricter hygiene measures, where we are constantly disinfecting food carriers, sanitary equipment, etc. Staff are provided with protective work equipment, masks and sanitary gloves, which they change regularly. Of course, we try in every way to ensure that we have enough of them, but for the time being we are working from reserves. We order dozens of litres of hand and surface disinfectant. Six litres of disinfectant have been provided by Tomas Bata University, to whom we would like to thank very much. Unfortunately, masks and respirators are not available for the time being. We received the first 20 respirators from the Zlín Region, so every employee was equipped with one. In addition, we have also provided vitamins to strengthen immunity.

We are gradually preparing for possible crisis scenarios, but the development in Luhačovice is calm for now, because no case of COVID-19 has been reported in the Luhačovice district so far. We also request all users and especially their family members to be considerate towards our staff. Please also wear masks at home while providing our urgent care, this protects our staff in particular.

Starting from 16 March 2020, the outpatient activities of the Luhačovice Day Care Centre have been suspended until further notice. Users have been handed over to the home care of family members. All employees of the residential care centre have been transferred to the field care service, sewing protective drapes and providing regular disinfection and hygiene at the Charity of Luhačovice.

We try to have an educational effect on the elderly and our surroundings, to reassure them, to work with their fears, to inform them e.g. We can also provide information on the provision of spiritual and psychotherapeutic support by the Archbishopric of Olomouc and the Cyril and Methodius Theological Faculty of Palacky University in Olomouc. Contact details can be found on the website https://www.ado.cz/2020/03/17/duchovni-a-psychoterapeuticka-pomoc-na-telefonu/.

We are in contact with the management of the town of Luhačovice to ensure that the situation is resolved peacefully. The mayors of the surrounding villages have also been informed about the possibilities of cooperation with our organisation during the emergency.

We are currently monitoring the situation with information from the Government of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Health, the KHS, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and other institutions and we are trying to adapt operatively to the requirements of the citizens.

THANK YOU FOR PROTECTING YOURSELF AND US AND WEARING A HANDBAG!!!In case you need a solution to a specific problematic situation, please contact us:

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
