Greetings and instructions from the spiritual administration of the parish of Luhačovice

We don't have a ready-made solution either. We are trying to comply with existing regulations and are grateful to all those who selflessly serve others, be it medical staff, pharmacists, politicians, and all those who provide essential food and services, etc. It has been clear to us from the beginning that we should make the best use of this time as well. In spite of the abundance of negative news, let us also see the good that takes place during this time and look for ways that we ourselves can contribute to the common good.

Our task is to continue to serve in our own way. As you know, there are certain regulations in place that we respect for the good of all of us and our health. Our ministry at this time consists primarily of prayer and worship, to which we invite you to join us via the webcam located in our church. This service was provided by Avonet several years ago and is now a very proven way for us to experience Mass and prayer together. These days we are being confirmed not only by our parishioners but also by people from different parts of our country and from abroad. For those who are unable to use this service, we recommend watching the broadcasts of TV NOE, TV LUX and PROGLAS radio and joining in the common prayer. We will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3:00 pm daily and the Rosary at 8:00 pm.

You can find the latest information on our website www.luhacovicefarnost.cz , which we will adapt according to the current situation.

We believe that we will overcome this situation in health with God's help and mutual responsible consideration and service. We wish you this and we pray for this intention. P. Hubert Wojcik and P. Martin RumíšekPractical Guidelines:

- We celebrate Masses for the intentions that have been written down.

- In the case of a funeral, only immediate family may attend in limited numbers on these days.

- We plan to celebrate Masses for the deceased at this time when these regulations have passed.

Luhačovice wants to protect its historical centre

The town of Luhačovice is planning a building closure in the area of the historic core. The measure is intended to temporarily protect architecturally valuable sites from unregulated construction until the new zoning plan comes into force. The building closure is to apply to the spa colonnade or Jurkovič Avenue towards the Luhačovice dam. In other locations, on the other hand, the city is ready to support new construction.
