In 2024, Korunka helped the needy with nearly five million crowns

"Financially, we have donated to more than ninety families, organizations and projects that care for children, the elderly and the sick in the Zlín and Olomouc regions," said Veronika Crha Záhorská, founder of the Korunka helps project.

Korunka realized several fundraising events during the year, among the main ones are the traditional fashion show Luhačovice - the city of health and fashion in May and the traditional Christmas concert for children in December. At the same time, in September, after the floods, Korunka announced several material collections, which went mainly to Česká Ves and the surrounding villages.

"When I did the first charity event in 2003, I never dreamed that there would be other events. And today we can boast that the Crown has almost no operating costs. All of us who participate in fundraising events and help have our own jobs and we take our help primarily as a mission to help those who need it most," added Veronika Crha Záhorská, adding that thanks to Korunka she has met exceptional people who help together for better or worse.

The Korunka Helps project was also presented for the first time in Prague, where a meeting of donors and supporters was held in October and where a large online auction to support flooded villages in Jesenice culminated in an auction. During Advent, Korunka also visited Olomouc, where a benefit concert by the Slovak trio La Gioia was held in the historic premises of the Archbishop's Palace.

Next year Korunka plans traditional fundraising events in Luhačovice and a number of other charitable activities.
