In the fairytale forest, a waterman, a princess and a fairy prepared tasks for children

Dozens of families enthusiastically headed to the event despite the really hot summer weather. Seven stations were prepared for the children, where they performed tasks with fairy tale characters. One of the organizers, Barbora Kovaříková, presented them on behalf of the DDM. "There is a princess whom the children have to rescue from the dragon, we have a waterman with three stations - catching fish, pulling carp from the pond and helping the waterman to collect souls. There's also Pokuston the magician, who the children have to throw balloons into his hat, and the witches help collect worms for a magic potion after running the course. At another of the stations, they collect dewdrops from the meadow for the fairy Vodna," Kovaříková described. Dressed as the fairy bee Maya herself, she handed out cards to children at the entrance to the event to confirm the completion of the tasks. For filling out the card, the boys and girls then received rewards - such as magnets, pancakes or a children's magazine.

The event was praised by Stanislava Mrázová, a mother who brought her two children, Lucinka and Tomášek, among others. "We are from Turnov and I have accompanied the children here for several times during their stay at the Miramonti hospital. We have gone to events with DDM Luhačovice in the past and we always liked how nicely they had prepared them," enthusiastically evaluated Mrs. Mrázová. All the children visibly enjoyed the programme and the tasks went well. And what attracted little Tomášek the most? "Probably how I caught fish for the waterman," the boy confided. Everyone enjoyed the event in their own way and even in temperatures in the mid-thirties it was pleasant, because people could partly enjoy the shade of the shady trees at the stations and during the transition between them. And those who were thirsty and didn't bring a drink could easily refresh themselves with the cool water of the Aloiska mineral spring.
