In addition to the regional website www.kr-zlinsky.cz, the citizens of the Zlín Region will also be able to find out the latest information from the mayors of their municipalities, to whom the Region will distribute the information so that they can, for example, use public radio to inform especially those citizens who do not have access to the internet.

"Tomorrow, together with the directors of the Region's hospitals, we will deal with the equipment of the paramedics who will travel together with the ambulance service to take samples from people who have symptoms of a new type of influenza. It is also necessary to set up a clinic in the KNTB dedicated only to the examination of patients with symptoms of the disease caused by the coronavirus, so that citizens returning from abroad during the spring holidays do not run around the hospital and go to one place," said the governor Jiří Čunek, who informed about the results of the joint meeting: "We are also currently dealing with the provision of sufficient quantities of drapes, respirators and personal protective equipment for our medical staff, because drapes are an absolute necessity both during operations and during standard movement between patients. Unfortunately, the way some people have senselessly overstocked on them has bought up the reserves, and at the moment the supply of drapes and respirators is limited."

Spring break began this week in the Zlin region, but after a week, students will be back in the classrooms, and many of them are with their parents in different areas. The Zlín Region, in cooperation with the regional sanitary station, is therefore already working on possible measures in advance. "We have agreed that the regional hygiene service will send a methodology to school principals during the first half of this week so that they know how to proceed after the end of spring break," added Mr Čunek.
