These parking spaces were previously used by the company Lázně Luhačovice. However, the city has agreed to terminate the lease agreement with the company, so all drivers can now use the spaces.

The City Council wants to gradually increase parking options for residents and visitors to the city.

"This is part of our long-term strategy to respond to the growing need for parking spaces. The price of parking has not been increased, the parking regime is the same as in the above-ground part of the parking house, including discounted first hour parking," said Luhačovice Mayor Marian Ležák.

Further improvements in parking are in sight, according to city leaders.

"The city is currently completing the construction of a new parking lot behind the shopping center, which will bring an additional 67 parking spaces in the coming months," said Luhačovice spokeswoman Hana Srncová.
