The patrol arrived at the scene immediately after the announcement. She saw a man lying on the floor in the room in an unresponsive state. A nephew was already trying to help the 66-year-old man. However, the senior was not breathing and his pulse was not palpable. The police did not hesitate. One of them cleared the airway and began cardiac massage. The second officer used an automatic defibrillator to restore basic vital signs, and after a while the man began to breathe. The two officers then took turns giving the man cardiac massage until the paramedics arrived.

After the necessary medical procedures, the paramedics transported the man to a hospital in Zlín. The doctor stated that the officers had most likely saved the man's life with their quick and professional approach, which is often decided in seconds.
